Impact of ROCK inhibitor in suspension aggregate culture of iPS cells
We invited Dr. Masahiro Kino-oka, Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University, to give a lecture on the suspension agglutinate culture of iPS cells using our ROCK inhibitor, Y-27632.
This is a free archived video distribution of the seminar held by our company in May 2024.
We will send the URL of the video to those who have applied to view it via email.
This presentation introduces what should be considered in the suspension aggregate culture of iPS cells and the impacts of ROCK inhibitor (Y-27632, FUJIFILM Wako Pure Chemical Corporation). In particular, Y-27632 makes the prevention of cell death in monodispersing, maintenance of aggregate shape, prevention of compression associated with the formation of eggshell-like structures of the ECM, and prevention of aggregate collapse by liquid flow. These controls of cell and aggregate behaviors leads to the successful suspension culture of iPS cell aggregates.
